Hi all.
Its been a while since my last post but thats due to work.
I have recently purchased some more goodies. But you will have to wait to see what they are.I have also decided to make some buildings and hopefully when these are done I will post some pictures.I know I promised some photos of the figures that I have already painted and I am working on that at the moment it seems that I have not got enough time to fit everything in so please bear with me.
On the 30th of September His majesties Royalist forces took part in an action in Devon. They shot at some Albertines and managed to achieve their objective. A good day was had by all and two young gamers had their introduction to the madness and seemed to enjoy it very much.
I'm afraid thats all for now.

So what have I been doing since my last post? Well I have almost completed my first two units of Royalists they just need varnishing and their bases finished. I will post pictures when complete.
Now for some background stuff.
Caleb Trevillis returned from Palestine in 1937 and reported to the war office. While Caleb was staying at his club he received a summons from the king. Caleb went to the meeting and the king asked him about the situation in Cornwall.Caleb was well informed about Cornwall as he had kept in touch with his family while he was away.Caleb informed the king that Cornwall could be held and that with the right commander would be a major asset for the king.At this point the king offered Caleb command of all royalist forces in Cornwall with the rank of General. Caleb was shocked at the offer but accepted the commission and told the king that he would return to Cornwall straight away.
So the adventure begins.

This is my blog about AVBCW in Cornwall.I hope to add to this regularly.Below is a map of Cornwall and part of Devon made up of information gleened from the source books and members of the GWP.
I would like to point out that this is my take on Cornwall and therefore not set in stone. As you can see from the map I have alot of scope to develop this as time goes on.
I am currently collecting a royalist force based in Liskeard and hope to post some pictures and background soon. My son is collecting a Communist force which is based in Callington so as you can see on the map I will have to change the flag.
That's all for now more to follow shortly.
